How to make your USB Drive password protected and Encrypted

Hello friends, Today I am going to tell you how to make your USB Drives or pen drives more protective by creating password protected and Encapsulated.
USB Drive is a portable devices which make it an essential storage media now days. That's why you may realize that there are many factor that risk your data stored in USB Drive, so you needs password protect USB drive to help you to stop any unauthorized access to your USB disk.
There are too many ways to protect your USB drive, like using some software, But            Bit-Locker is a service by windows which helps you password protect and encrypt your data in USB drive.

Just Follows These Steps:-

Step-1 Insert Your pen drive which you want to protect, And right click on USB drive and choose option Turn On Bit-Locker.


















Step-2 After choosing  Turn On Bit-Locker, You can see there are two option showing on your screen. Either you can choose 1. Use a Password to Unlock the drive or you can choose 2. Use my smart card to Unlock the drive. In Second option you have to insert your smart card. The smart card pin will be required when you unlock the drive.




















Step-3 Just insert your password and just click the next option. After Clicking the next button it will ask you either you want save your recovery key to a file or print the recovery file. 




















Step-4 Just Choose any 1 option and give file name and save it where you want to on your system. And Hit The Next Button.























Step- 5 After that it will ask you Start Encrypting. just click on that Button. 



















Encryption will Start. it will take some time to encrypt your USB Drive.
