Hello Friends, Today I am going to show you how to block website in your browser. Now days we all Know that internet is our primary need in our life.Without internet we cant survive. There are lot advantage from internet. Like emails, massages,social networking, advertisement etc. Apart from that, there are lot of disadvantages. There are lot of Website which is not good of your kid.
In That case you want to secure your internet from your child. That He/She cant see or use website which is not good for him. So don't worry, I will tell you here steps.How to block Website And Keep your Child Life secure. Just Follows These Steps:-
Step 1- If You are Using Windows 7 then Go-to the Start menu. And Then in search bar type Run. One Pop-Up box(Run Command) will Open. Or If you are using windows 8 then Use Short-cut Key Windows+R(This Short-cut key can also use in Windows 7 ). It will Open Run Command. In Run Command Just Type- C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc.
Step 2- When You Click OK. It Will Redirected to the Host Page.
Step 3- Open this Host File in Notepad. When you will double click on Host File, It will ask in which formate you want to Open. just select Notepad. It will open in Text File. And Find
127.0.0.1 localhost
: :1 localhost
Step 4- Press "Enter" to Write New Line.
Step 5- Write the Website Address Whichever you Want to Block. you can add any website address. but you will need to perfect it with "128.0.0.1".
For Example- If you want to block "crictime.com". then Just type "127.0.0.1" followed by single space, followed by "crictime.com".
And you have done. your computer will block this website. if you want to blok this on mobile also den type "m.cricktime.com" and this will block on mobile also.
Step 6- Go-to the file menu and save this file. If any Pop-Up Box will come and says you can't save this file because you are not Administrator, you will need change the Administrator permission. To Do this-
Go-to the Properties ->Security and make sure that all the boxes are checked in your user account. this should allow you to save this file.
